'Organissed Faith'

'Organised Faith' embodies the good and the bad in human nature.
My disbelief at the appalling treatment by humanity of humanity and its senseless yet extremely powerful and dangerous force to aquire this power regardless of and at the expense of innocent kind and harmless people’s dignity and life.
The spikes and spears thrown in at all angles of this piece echo this sentiment coming at us from all around. The ring protects the innocent although in reality too may spikes and spears get through. The people standing together on the ground, raise there hopes and arms in an attempt to carry the innocent so they can feel security and togetherness, isolating any danger and vulnerability.
The figure in the centre of the ring is coiled…..wearing their 'hope' as armour, which reflects fear, love, vulnerability and kindness.
Full of hope, inner strength and possibilities against the odds!
The details below show Japanese Samurai Armour in all its protective beauty and was a large influence in the development of this piece.
