'Organised Kindness'
'Organised Kindness' was inspired by visits to many City centre's and witnessing the unmistakeable increase of rough sleepers and homeless people.
The relatively new and shameful innovation of Defensive Architecture was palpable in the form of park benches with armrests through the middle, preventing rough sleeper's or homeless people from resting. The countless concrete and metal spikes in doorways, potential shelter's or areas where someone who is displaced could be considered a nuisance or an embarrassment.
In acknowledgement of my ideal world, people without homes would float above the spikes and wouldn't need benches as they could rise above the ugly surface of humanity and rest their bodies and minds in the freedom of gravity, peacefully and with all the dignity any human being deserves.
The individual garbs and crowns symbolise everyones right to a character and a personality regardless of capitalism and materialism.
